The Bash-CoLive

• Total projected costs range from $7.5 million to $8 million.

• The project involves the development of a 111-bed co-living facility in Terre Haute, Indiana. Cynosure assisted the owner in acquiring the land through the Terre Haute Economic Development Department. The units will be leased at approximately $1,000 per month, encompassing all utilities such as water, electricity, trash removal, and internet. The development will cater to both students and non-students. Each room is fully furnished, featuring a fully stocked kitchen with pots, pans, utensils, plates, bowls, and other essential kitchenware. Additionally, each room is equipped with a small refrigerator and microwave. Each unit includes its own bathroom and shower. Each floor will have washers and dryers for laundry purposes. For students, the development eliminates the challenges of dorm living, such as concerns about roommates staying up late, arguments over food, and other common issues. However, students still have the opportunity to socialize with each other in the large living rooms on each floor.

• The work was completed while Cynosure served as a consultant with another firm. The tasks performed included land acquisition with the developer, conceptual and schematic designs, and construction drawings.
